The mentor program at Highdown is well established and includes the following activities:
- Sixth Form mentors supporting Year 7, Year 8 and some Year 9 students socially and emotionally
- Year 12 and 13 academic support for pupils
- Year 8 Buddies (and Year 9 Super Buddies) supporting Year 7 socially and emotionally
- Library mentors
