Young Carers
At Highdown, we are developing our provision for young carers and their families. We support young carers by:
- having designated staff to identify and support young carers in school
- having open conversations with young carers and their families about their caring roles and responsibilities
- offering a range of supportive interventions, including reasonable adjustments where necessary
We are committed to meeting the needs of young carers so that they can attend and enjoy school and achieve their potential.
