Year 10 GCSE Geography students recently took part in the Reading Schools' Climate Conference, modelled on the COP26 of the United Nations, on Wednesday 10th November. The conference took place in the Council Chambers of the Reading Civic Offices. Students represented countries from across the world and negotiated key climate issues and potential resolutions. Students also discussed climate action in their local area. Six schools from across Reading took part and our students were outstanding in their performance.
The event was filmed by BBC South Today and featured on the BBC Evening News on Wednesday 10th November.
